Summary

Heartburn Health, a research programme funded by the NHS and Cancer Research UK which aims to bring together volunteers with heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux. Heartburn Health will speed up research into solutions for heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux, ultimately improving the health and wellbeing of people suffering with these symptoms. Research in this programme will improve NHS care and the guidance provided for people with these symptoms.  Heartburn Health is designed to collect health data from participants, enabling researchers to invite them to relevant studies that can make significant improvements in the field. To achieve this, we are inviting millions of people across the UK to join Heartburn Health. The eligibility criteria to be invited is women aged 65-79 and males aged 55-79 living in one of our targeted regional areas; Yorkshire & Humber, East of England, East Midlands and South East Central.
